Supporting the mass-media in the Romanian language in all its forms (the written, the audio-visual and the electronic press) represents a priority in the DRA’s strategy of creating means of communication for the Romanian communities abroad.

The types of actions that fall under this program and that DRA will assist with priority this year are the following:

-         Supporting the media pertaining to the Romanian communities abroad;

-         Organising training courses in organisational management and programme management for journalists from Romanian mass-media institutions abroad;

-         Encouraging and supporting the presence of ethnical journalism in the virtual medium;

-         Supporting local radio and television stations that broadcast programmes for Romanians abroad;

-         Producing Romanian television programmes destined to be broadcasted or retransmitted, in cooperation with specialised institutions.
